Mercedes drivers Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg made an appearance in Kuala Lumpur today on behalf of the team’s title sponsor Petronas. Along with third driver Nick Heidfeld the drivers entertained fans in Kuala Lumpur with a current-generation F1 car as well as a classic Mercedes W196. See below for pictures.

Mercedes Grand Prix announced their first driver yesterday and few were su[prised to discover it was Nico Rosberg. Who will end up in the second car run by the championship-winners is a much more interesting question as it’s probably the most coveted vacant seat in F1. Who do you think should get it?
Mercedes has confirmed Nico Rosberg will drive for them in 2010. It’s a massive opportunity for Rosberg, who joins the team which were the championship winners this year as Brawn, despite not yet having won a Grand Prix.
