  1. Yay, Daniel. That IS a very refreshing and different helmet design! Good job designing something that is interesting and your own

    1. Completely agree! I see it as him breaking totally free from Red Bull almost.

    2. @bascb To me it is 100% like mostly because of that. I’m not sure I like the weird design and the colour palette BUT it is very different and it is bold, so it is great!

  2. Carlos new Helmet is also very nice, I like the metallic blue on there.

  3. Sorry to do this in so many single comments, but I must say i like Hulk’s new lid too.

Norris’ helmet reminds me a bit of that fluorescent Massa helmet, not sold on it, but it will stand out and has some nice bits, but it seems still a bit messy with all the lines and shapes.

Gasly – yeah, whatever, just another interchangeable red bull one.

Love Ricciardo’s new lid, best I’ve seen in ages, great to see someone breaking the mould.

Lando’s design is based on Valentino Rossi’s even busier design, so you can see where he’s coming from, but agree it could be better executed, the Doctor’s is more distinctive. The blue and dayglo green do kind of hark back to his Carlin breeding though which is nice.

Personally I miss Hulk’s bright green lid from 2017(?), just feels right to me that Hulk should be bright green.

  4. I like Ricciardos Helmet, definitely different. I expect Hamiltons to be pretty good as well.

  5. I like RICs “Frankenstein’s Monster” helmet, but what is STOP THEM supposed to mean?

      @aliced
It seems to say “stop being them”, as in ‘stop being them, and start being you’, which fits well with his non-corporate, personal new design.
The middle font is indeed hard to decipher though.

      1. Thanks, yes the word “being” is almost invisible.

  6. I think Dans new hat looks a bit daft to be honest but full marks for being different ;)

Should Claire Williams really look that happy?

We were told it wouldn’t be called Racing Point!

Lewis looks like he just snuck out of re-hab.

I will try to post some more deep and insightful comments later on ;P
